Help with building a reports

Guys - I've no my sql experience so building reports is an issue for me (actually , any one know a good website or book to start learning)

Anyway, I am trying to pull back a report that shows what machines have the KB2982791 installed in my environment.

Any help or ideas would be great.

For this you don't need MySQL. In the Inventory perform an advanced search for Software Titles contains KB2982791. Once the page loads the results, click Choose Action, Create Report.

Hi Chuckstell, thanks for that info. I need to pull this back in a report format as I need to present it to my Head of IT as it has caused numerous blue screens.

  • When you create the report it will give you the SQL code it uses to generate it. Depending on your learning style this could be a good way to dive in and see some MySQL in action and start figuring out how things work. - chucksteel 9 years ago
