Has anyone been able to update an Asset ticket with information from an Incident ticket

wondering if anyone has been able to create a custom rule that takes a value in an incident/request ticket and update the information in the related Asset.

Yes, I have done this. We have a queue used for purchase requests and I have a rule that adds the ticket ID to a custom field in the asset that holds purchased items. This was all setup before the SMA had the Purchases asset type.

Put simply with a ticket rule, you can extract the data from the ticket then update the asset record, as long as the asset record is linked or identified in some way.
