Try to edit the below registry -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Update
DisableAutoUpdateChecksCheckboxValue=1

You can also look for the 'ISCHECKFORPRODUCTUPDATES' property in MSI.

DirectX and OpenGL add 3D rendering capabilities to Google Earth and if you are running it on Windows, the installer automatically suggests which one is good for your particular system.
And Yes, graphics card is a MUST.

Hi

ISCHECKFORPRODUCTUPDATES is required to be set 1 or 0 for disable auto update and what is Client_Omaha feature in google earth, disabling that feature will harm any way by application?

If the registry key not existing means that auto update disabled?

Is it safe methoed to remove DoAction InstallToolBarCA, SetGEUserStatsOff, SetGEUserStats from Finish button events for disable installaing browser tool bar, disable sending user statistics?

How to test whether disabled auto update working or otherwise

Many thanks
