google earth
hi,
My package is running fine as an admin. but when i run it as user, it runs fine the first time, but it takes about 4 minute if i want to launch it for the second time. I am repackaging google earth. SOS

run the application as the user and use reg- and filemon to pin down the file/registry that you get access denied on.

hi,
I did run filmon Regmon, i got some Acces denied, and i fixed them; but it still running slow when i launch more than once.
i am runnig the app on OpenGL mode. It does not work on DirectX mode at All.

Did you search the forums for Google Earth posts? A couple of months ago, this was a hot topic.
I still haven't figured out why any environment would allow Google Earth, but that's another issue.

It still sounds like there are some permissions missing for the user and/or files/registry.
Try using process explorer and view the process during execution, it might reveal where it "hangs".
