Systems Deployment

Hello I am a newbie and currently involved in a project where the goal is to ensure a smooth transition from a Windows NT4 environment at the desktop level to Windows XP SP2 of 300 systems.

Suggested imaging tools is Symantec Ghost 8.2. The environment is predominantly Citrix. If ghost is the software of choice, then it will be a straight O/S ghosting without any applications these can be done later. The goal therefore, will be to have 4 ghost servers.
I would also like to have the computers join the domain automatically.

How can I do this project in the shortest time? Would you also point me to the direction I should follow to implement this? I am currently in the research phase of this project and the internet has not yielded as much information as I would like. I am also tying to contact Symantec Support to assist it has not been a successful attempt.
