I'm trying to use Ghost Cast Server to deploy an image that spans. When Ghost gets to the next part of the image file, I get the following error message "(19922) Connection reset by server" or other problems when restoring a split image file"
I've checked Symantec's site which indicates "At this time, we do not know the exact cause or contributing factors to this problem."

Anyone have any idea as to how I can work around this issue other than reducing the image to less than 2gb?

I ran into the same problem. Trial and error, make sure you create your image with Ghost Cast and run a chkdsk on your source machine prior to image creation, I found a dsk error that was screwing up my image. I created the images locally on an external HDD and then tried to restore via Ghost Cast, didn't work. I then created the image via Ghost Cast and then restored via Ghost Cast and worked smooth. Bottom line, clean source machine, chkdsk and defrag prior to image creation. Then, create image via Ghost Cast and deploy via Ghost Cast.
