Font shortcuts created in fonts folder
I have a problem an older version of the installer created shortcuts to fonts in the windows\fonts folder. I have fixed this problem for the latest version of the installer which works fine if installing from new but if I do a major upgrade from the old version the short cuts to the fonts remain in the windows\fonts folder.
Does anybody know of a way that I could get rid of these?

Forgot to say it is a basic msi project and I am using installshield 2008 pro.

Use the RemoveFile table. I normally create a new component, rather than using the ID from an existing one, but that's your choice.
