Folder into Executable...(Solved)

Hello folks,

Got a question.

I need to convert an entire folder into an executable. Confused? Let me explain.

I have a folder with about 60 or so files. This folder also contains an executable. This executable pulls these files in the folder and installs them in their respective locations. The executable also has a response file to make it unattended and silent.

I want to turn the whole folder into an executable with the response file in it. I want to take this executable and place it in a temporary location from where it will install and then be deleted from the target machine all silently and unattended.

Using Wise, how will I accomplish that?

Hi

This is very simple using wise script.

1. Install entire folder into some temp location
2. Call the executable with response file as an argument
3. Delete the folder after installation is success.

Use the /s switch to make this happen everything silent.
