Flash ActiveX 64bit problems

Hi, I am deploying 64bit Flash ActiveX on my Win7 X64 clients, and the X64 package is supposed to work on both X64 and X86 versions of Internet Explorer. In my case, it does not. 64bit Internet explorer runs fine, Flash add-in is in place, but the 32bit Internet explorer does not work. There is no add-in to be found either. Windows 7 X64 wont let me install 32bit flash over 64bit flash either, so I have not been able to fix this. Anyone have any clues?

Use the installers from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and deploy matching versions.

You can easily deploy a 32bit version on a 64bit version by using the 32bit exe or msi.

you can install 64bit over 32bit, but not the other way around, at least I seem to remember running into this recently. Can you either enforce the install order, or detect, uninstall and reinstall the 64bit ActiveX in the 32-bit install (script)?
