Error 1918 & 1919 Error installing ODBC driver SQL Server
Hello all,
I have created a setup for client/server applicaton made in delphi 6 and tried to run in win 2000 professional. The target machine is in different workgroup than the System where sql server is installed. however i have shared the sql server folder.
But on running setup, i get an error message as
Error 1918. Error in installing odbc driver SQl server. ODBC error 11. drivers ConfigDSn, ConfigDriver or configTranslator failed.Verify sql server exist and that you have access to it.
however when i tried in an win XP machine, which is again not a member of workgroup where sql server resides, installer worked and program is up and running.
will this be a problem relating to MDAC or network rights/access. (i was reading thru the posting here.)
pls can any one help.
