We will be disabling the UAC and file & printer sharing via GPO to deploy kace agents but

I personally have not used KACE to make GPO changes as of yet, but from what I'm reading here https://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-k1000/suggestions/1637531-uac-compatibility it seems to be possible for you to deploy the agent without having to disable the UAC. Perhaps you can take a look at it and determine if it's something you'd like to use.
