Editing Asset causes Assigned User to reset to Default

Has anyone experienced this "Bug"?

I imported all my AD users via LDAP and am using it to assign them to their Workstation Asset.  Things are going well however, when i edit the asset to make a change to something, it sets the user field to "unassigned" even if it was previously assigned to a user.

This means every time I edit an asset I will need to reassign the user to it.  That is not going to work because my guys will always forget to do that.

Is this a bug or am I just doing something wrong?  Your help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you,

-Phil

It's a bug, contact support they have a patch for it. The drop down menu just shows up as blank but the data remains, even if you generate a report on the asset.
