Driver feed Question.

I'm basically new to kace, Any help is appreciate. I been reading the solutions to this problem can't really find any that work for us. We are downloading and installing the drivers for a latitude e5470 from the k2000 directly. However, the drivers are going to the 2KBOX/drivers_postinstall folder and not the 2KBOX/drivers one. How do we solve this problem? I downloaded the drivers pack manually from the dell website but they download to a .CAB file, am I able to use the CAB file drivers directly?

There are two parts to the drivers on a K2000:
Driver Feed - This is used by computers during the imaging process to install all of the necessary drivers for the system. These can be found in the drivers_postinstall share. Selecting the models of systems in your inventory will download them and make them available for systems.

Drivers share - The drivers here are only used for creating the boot environments. When creating a new KBE it is recommended that you download the appropriate driver pack from Dell. See this KB article for more details:

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you are downloading and installing the drivers directly. When you create an image on the K2000 and deploy it there is a checkbox to use the driver feed. If you have that option selected then the drivers should get installed automatically when you image a machine.
