Does a Managed Install check for hard drive space before download/install?
Hey all,
Quick question. Had a user complain today that a ~430 MB install filled up her C drive. Nevermind the obvious problems with a disk that full... but it got me thinking - does KACE check for available space?

Thanks for response. I noticed when pushing a this large file to my PC, it showed up in KACE/downloads/23558 very quickly. Much faster than I'd expect 430 MB to transfer. This is making me wonder if it somehow places the file in its full size before all of the data is transferred to the target machine. - vmann 10 years ago

Smal is correct. It does not check. That said, there is a built in K1000 report you can run that will show systems that have drives that have less than 2GB available. It's called C Drives Less than 2G free. You could also set that up as an alert.
