Disable Survey?
I have seen references in this forum saying that it can be disabled, but the KB articles say I can just remove the link but not the survey. Which is the case?

You're technically hiding a field. It doesn't get rid of the field (you'll keep existing survey data), but it hides it so users will no longer see the survey or get the survey email.

Changing SAT_Survey to "Hidden" and "Not required" didn't stop KACE 1100 from sending the mail to fill out a survey.

This functionality has changed. Hiding the survey won't stop the ticket closure email. What you are seeing isn't a survey email - it's technically a closure email. You can modify this email to simply state the ticket is now closed (or anything else you'd like to change it to). Or you can just uncheck the notification for ticket closure. - airwolf 10 years ago
