Detecting hardware not plugged in?
Hello World!
I have quite a few HP laptops (Probook 6450b) that have a known issue where the built in webcam is no longer detected. The resolution is to replace the webcam. I was wondering how I can generate a report in KACE to pull which systems are not detecting the webcam. I am assuming there is a registry key missing or something that I can create a custom inventory rule for. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you get this figured out? I'm having the same problem and need to run a report for USB webcams. - bmather 10 years ago
