Deployments fail on 50% of machines
We have deployed 2 Microsoft .MSI files and failed on about 50% of the machines. So we redeployd it and we keep getting this error.
MSI (s) (C4:EC) [07:45:52:584]: Product: Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 -- Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: \\HQP-SM-CRP01\SMSPKGD$\RHI0017C\{6C64AB8C-F78B-45C0-98E3-6DE9702E0225}v8.0.6362.191.msi
Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: \\HQP-SM-CRP01\SMSPKGD$\RHI0017C\{6C64AB8C-F78B-45C0-98E3-6DE9702E0225}v8.0.6362.191.msi
And I looked up that error and from what I've read it means the software is already there and it won't reinstall.
On the command line we have this:
msiexec.exe /QN /i "LMConsole.msi" REBOOT=R /L*V "c:\windows\Build\MSLiveMeeting2.log" REINSTALLMODE=omus REINSTALL=ALL
We we are using the Reinstall swith yet it will not reinstall. Why?

Could be that specific machines do not have full access to that network share. To check if this is the problem try copying the installer locally and then install,
