Deploying MS Office 2003 Standard with KACE

Hello,

I am an IT Professional who has recently been given the responsibility of migrating our software deployments from our Ghost Console to the KBOX appliance. I am new to the process and have only a small amount of experience with KACE deployments. The first piece of software I would like to deploy is MS Office 2003 Standard.

I am having trouble getting the deployment to work via KACE. I configured my install files to use an 'install.bat' file to begin the installation. I have uploaded and associated my zip file with the software in KACE. When my client machine connects to Kace it will download the zip, and unpack it, but the install does not run.

If I navigate to the folder on the client machine when KACE has downloaded the files, I can manually click the 'install.bat' file and the install will start and complete successfully. For some reason, KACE will download and unpack the files, but fails before (or while) calling 'install.bat'.

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

Please let me know if there is anything I forgot to include, I am new to this so I apologize if I got anything wrong...

Any help would be appreciated!

Here is the contents of my client debug.log:

Install.bat is not seen when the zip file is unpacked. either move the install.bat file up one level in the zip file or put the short path to the file ./my_directory/install.bat

Thank you for your help. That was exactly the info I needed. I modified my install.bat file to run from the parent folder and created a new zip. Now it works! Thanks again!
