Deploying Citrix 8

I'm using an msi with an mst to deploy Citrix 8 via Active Diretory. I am also using an msi to uninstall Citrix 6 & 7 off the pc's before installing citrix 8. Everything works except the desktop icons change to a generic picture, the icons work to get you to the right app. In addition to the uninstall of 7, I've tried to delete any folders left over related to 7 but some give me access denied. If I install 8 alone, it works fine. I'm thinking there may be a file I should delete in regards to Citrix 7. Any help appreciated. Oh by the way running a Citrix 8 repair fixes the issue but it takes a long time to install. Thanks.

Your icons are most likely pointed at C:\Windows\Installer\{GUID}

Create a custom action to remove the left over traces of Citrix 7 so that the new icon location takes over.
