My (limited) experience with Cisco software is that it's MSI-based, wrapped in an InstallShield EXE. Thus, the normal methodology is to run Setup/Install and, before clicking 'Next', search the local hard drive for any new MSIs. Once you have the MSI, you can use the normal switches for MSIEXEC.

Yes usually it is. But in this case it is an Installshield exe and it is uncompressing java files. I tried /s, /S, /q, /quiet, /s/v"/qn" with no success

I just did a similar one (not a Cisco product) and ended up re-packaging it. Probably not what you wanted to hear...

Can Cisco not help? *Surely* they must know of a requirement to install silently?!? Do they have a forum where you can this question?

You can use the "-silent" parameter for the install.

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
