It's a H U G E assumption but, if you're using SP, I'm guessing that your a Software Assurance site? If so, why persist with GP, especially given the hoops you need to jump through to get the 2007 family (OK, I mean Office principally!) to deploy that way? SCCM must be the way forward. It has its drawbacks, obviously, but overall, it knocks GP into a cocked hat, especially in terms of the user experience (no more interminable waits for AppX to install before the Desktop appears...)
