deploy lnk
hi,
I have a fresh image of autocad 2011 to deploy that works perfectly.
I use wpkg software to deploy every applications I want. My problem is that if i run the autocad lnk the silent install runs and fork and dont wait to give the control to wpkg.
After that wpkg thinks that autocad installation was been completed and it check if this true but it cant find autocad installed and then proceed withc other pkg.. this can make lot's of problems.
I only want run lnk without fork and wait it finish. If I run the content of lnk doesn't work because:
1) give me 1603 error
2) the autocad setup.exe dont support UNC
thx for any help

It *sounds* like the first set-up stub is passing control to another EXE, then exiting. It's entirely possible that the second EXE gets extracted from the first. Watch a manual install with a process monitor and see if that's true. You should also be able to log the install, so that you can see what arguments - if any - get passed to the second EXE.
Lastly, I haven't read a word of the stuff here but maybe you should! :-)
