I do not know this software but if you like change the directory installation, and do not have a customization tool (wise or adminstudio) you can use the this command line:

msiexec /i <package.msi> INSTALLDIR=%programfiles%\Dentrix

I wanted to modify the MSI with Orca, but didn't know where to change the settings in the MSI for the directory and also the change the install locations for the data, docs and tutor locations.

Can this be done with Orca?

Yes you can do it using Orca.

<Dir Installation> - You need to find the INSTALLDIR property in the MSI database and change it!

<File Location> - you can change the location files finding each dir name (i.e tutor dir) or each file name changing the property value of the location.

Just an advise 8D - I think you need to get a Wise and AdminStudio... trial version just to know how these tools are simple to use than Orca ...

Yes you can do it using Orca. ...but with the usual caveat, i.e. that irrespective of which tool you use, you should NEVER alter a vendor-supplied MSI. Always make changes using a transform file. Orca can create these, too.
