Date format to use in filters

What date format do I need to use to create a custom filter in the Help Desk module e.g. tickets opened after 1/1/2010?
I'm a newbie to KBOX, so apologies if this is a silly question. [:)]

You may try the format like this '1990-10-02' i mean 'yyyy-mm-dd' in the WHERE clause

The standard date format for the US in MySQL is YYYY-MM-DD.

And keep in mind that most dates are stored in our database as timestamps. So when you say >2010-01-01 you are actually saying >'2010-01-01 00:00:00'. This mean you are effectively including Jan 1st because 00:00 is midnight.
