Anyone know how to create a script to give me a brake-down of open and closed tickets by day?

  • You could try this and see if it works. Just change the interval to 1 day instead of 7

  • I would recommend 3 reports to give you all the information, they would be:
    - Calls with a log date of today (any Status)
    - Calls with a close date of today
    - Calls with an Active Status
    That will tell you what new calls you have logged, what calls have you closed and what your backlog is. All of which can be done easily using the reporting wizard.
