Customize your own Post Installation Splash Screen
Wow, you guys are tough, everyone loved my post and script with the Post Installation splash screen, but you all wanted more. Well it took a little doing, but I did it. I have a script that will let you creating your own post install splash screen with the image of your choice. The end result will be the same, a single file called updating.exe.
You can PM me to request the script. When you run the script you will be asked to select a .jpg file. It is best that this file be 800x600, but it will accept any size. When it is finished it will output an .exe file called updating.exe in the same directory as your script.
Have a good background you want to share, post it here. I'll start by putting in the Dell | Kace background.
Lets see some great splash screens guys (embed it in the post for it to show up in the forum).

It seems to work fine unless the resolution is above 640x480 (or is it 800x600?). If it's higher, then this happens:

The resolution is 800x600, I'll look at making it bigger, and resizing according to the current rez.

Please go to the original post to find an updated script with resolution size 1280x960.
