I need to bring up a dialog during msi installation where the users enter their specific phone number.
Can I do this during a silent installation (/qb) to only show up that specific dialog?

Please guide me in the right direction

OK, that's the way I solved it:

I created a selfexecutable Script with Wise Script Editor, which prompts for the phone number and puts that value into the registry and the apropriate .ini files.
Then I integrated that script as a Custom Action into the .msi. With the condition NOT REMOVE I made sure, that it only runs during Installation and Repair. That way the user has even the chance to change the phone number during a Repair.
