Software Deployment

Hello,

I have this app called Crystal Xcelsisu 4.5. It requires a serial # after it is installed then a activation. I tried many different options to prevent the user from having to enter in the serial #. I’ve tryied many command lines with the setup.exe and editing the MSI to no avil. I added the PID xx-xx-xx-xx property even found a regwiz.msm and license.msm from Crystal Reports that would not work. So I called the vendor they said it couldn’t be done. The activation isn’t a big deal but we can’t hand over the Serial # and leave it up to the user.

Please help.
