Creating MST for VMWare Server

Hi,

I'd like to deploy VMWare Server via group policy. I've setup a network admin install, and deployment works. I'd now like to auto insert the name, company, and serial number. This is because our users aren't local admins, and to register, you have to be a local admin. So I'd like to create an MST that will fill these details in. I've read the Appdeploy package page on http://itninja.com/link/how-to:-deploy-visual-studio-.net-by-using-systems-management-server1 but that gives the command line way of doing it, not the MST way. I've also read http://www.vmware.com/support/gsx3/doc/install_winsteps_gsx.html but again this is command line based.

If I open the MSI in ORCA, there are 2 sets of variables, under the 'Control' table there is SerialNumber, USERNAME & COMPANYNAME, and under the 'InstallShield' table there is Username, CompanyName, and ISProductCode. I have tried filling these rows in with the relivant values, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone suggest how I might get the MST working?

Many thanks

Ben
