Creating Environment Variables with Wise Installation System 9.02
I'm running Wise Installation System 9.02. So many applications now will install silently by themselves that I've never had a need to upgrade, but I might now.
I've upgraded from SMS 2003 to SCCM 2007 (and I have to say I'm not very happy about it). I need to be able to create the environment variable SEE_MASK_NOZONECHECKS, install my application, and remove the variable.
Can I create environment variables using this version? If so, how? I haven't figured it out yet.

I've since realized that I CAN create the environment variable via the registry, but I don't think that's really want I needed in the first place.
I need to change the environment in which my script is running and change it back when I'm done. I'm trying to do with Wise what's being done using VBS here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889815

ORIGINAL: BoyGeniusI don't think packaging hotfixes inside MSIs is a particularly good idea. Aren't your HFs handled by WSUS?

I'm not actually using this for installing HFs. This is Microsoft's recommended fix for pushing applications via Configuration Manager. Any application install I've got that calls an external program fails because because of the zone checking.
I've used the VBScript successfuly, I'd just rather not have another layer of complexity if I can avoid it.
