I am trying to create a Flash 9 MSI so that the updates are disabled. I've installed it on a clean PC and then ran AppDeploy Repackager. I accepted all the default when it came to screens regarding registry settings. The program created the package just fine. I took the MSI and ran it on another PC. It gets listed under Add/Remove Programs, but when I go to test it on a site with Flash it doesn't work. I get a message saying that the object could not be found and then the site itself asks if I want to install Flash.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thank you,

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?Yes. You're trying to re-package an application into an MSI when it's already supplied in MSI form, albeit compressed into an EXE.

Use the 'Package KB' and the other posts here for details on deploying Flash as an MSI and on disabling updates etc.
