What tool are you using?

This has been covered (for Wise Package Studio) to some extent here: http://itninja.com/question/faulttree-109560

Does that help?

Goto the media settings in WPS - you will find the options there (internal cab / external cab / uncompressed external files)

Adding to Rob's reply; make sure to set the max size of the cab file to 500MB
