Copy files to C: during scripted install

I am in the process of moving from Zenworks to the K2000 (and K1000). I have had 1 image/scripted install for years that would install XP on any machine. The problem is I that I use an image with win98 fat32 partition with the XP install files, updates, zenworks install files and novell client. So I image this to the hard drive, it reboots starts the XP install and is unattended.

I do not have time to recreate a brand new k2000 scripted install. I would like to some how migrate my above install to a k2000 scripted install. I have mapped a drive to \\k2000\peinst, but do no seem to have permissions to save anything there. Was hopping to leverage this to copy my need files and folders during the install.

Any suggestions?? I will at some point create a new XP and W7 scripted install that will join AD, but that is six to 8 months out.

The \\k2000\peinst is the share you will find stuff in here: http://k2000/post_install_task_list

You cannot edit it in, but you can upload a zip file to the website and it will show in the share, then you can use it, as it will acually unzip it aswell in there.

You could also .zip your files up with a .bat file to xcopy them as a midlevel postinstallation task.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
