Convert admin install to CAB?
I've got administrative installs of various applications office, visio etc which were created to slipstream patches in. Is there any way that I can convert this administrative install back to a CAB file, then I can have embed this cab in the MSI and have a single file for distribution of the application?

WinINSTALL LE allows you to Compress and MSI. This will add all the files to a single or muliple cab file and then allow you to add the cab file to the MSI.
Somethimes it has issues, so I would make a backup of the .MSI file before trying.
You can get wininstall from the vendor web site www.ondemandsoftware.com
I dont know about wise, but I have not seen and easy utility in Installshield to do this.
