Concurrent Launch

Hi all
I sequenced 2 different versions of mozilla Firefox with App-v sequencer 4.6 sp1 but when i launch the application concurrently then which ever version launched 2nd it take the version of 1st launched one on client side and i gave 2 different name to root Dirctory and working Directory to each version ...
So tell me how we can launch the 2 different version of same application Simultaneously .

perhaps you can try creating different firefox profiles for the 2 versions and launching with firefox -P <profilename> -no-remote

Hi,

with-no-remote it can only start one instance of firefox (same version), otherwise an error (a process already used ...).

Strange for me behavior is that firefox is not really isolated with APP-V and diffrent bubble firefox communicates between it or I do not know

It might be a matter of process-checking by Firefox. As in, if you start it up and Firefox notices there's already an instance of firefox.exe in the process list, it will reuse that same executable. Adobe Reader does something similar by default. Just a guess though...

Yep Firefox have a process-checking... but I thought that APP-V isolate the application in a cloud / / / was wrong?

you're not wrong, but the process list is visible across bubble boundaries
