Component GUID

If the component doesnt have the GUID whether the application (msi/mst) will install or not.

It will install. But repair will not be successful.

PS: Try it out. u will understand better.

Basically the component is not registered in the machine due to which there is nothing to check against it while repair/self heal.

It will install but Self-heal/Repair/Uninstall will not be successful for this pariticular component
