I am using a process for hardware and software purchases that as each step of the process is completed and is closed a ticket for the next step in the process is opened. What I am trying to do is at any step of the process if the order is cancelled and the status changes to Purchase Cancelled the parent and all child tickets are closed. What is happening right now with the rule I created is that the parent ticket closes and whatever child ticket you changed the status to Purchase Cancelled is closing but all other child tickets are staying opened. Any suggestions?

When you close the parent ticket is there any indication that it was closed because the purchase was cancelled? I think that you would need to do that and then you could have a rule that checks the parent ticket status and closes all children appropriately.
