client shares

I am new to using KACE and I have some questions about the client share folders it creates. It creates a new client_# folder for every organization you create, but the only folder that has the agent distribution folders is the regular 'client' folder that is tied to the Default org. If I look in the 'client_1' folder, it is empty. Is this normal?

Also, is there a way to map the 'client' folder with admin rights so I can upload files and modify the agent_provisioning.bat file?

Thanks,

Seth

You use ClientDrop share to upload things to Client share; The other folders are used when importing/exporting resources to that org. Although there should be an agent deployment folder there if the agents differ in any ways, for example different orgs can have different versions.

In most of the cases you dont need to modify the any BAT file. However if you wish to import resources then you need Write access to the folder. You can view the procedure for that on my blog. http://afzalyousufi.blogspot.com/
