Changing MSI installation location folder

I have a vendor msi and the default install directory is c:\program files\application.

Now, I want to create a .mst and change default dir to c:\application. I´m using Wise Package Studio,
and I have tried the following:

* InstallTailor. I have changed install directory during setup to c:\application and saved the .mst. But during
installation the application is still installing under c:\program files\application.

* Under Installation Expert - Product Details, Default Directory, how do I find root drive in order to add
an new folder? So that is is changed to c:\application. Is there any other way?

Anyone that can help me with this?

Is there a valid business reason for installing it in C:\application ?

If there is have you tried changing the INSTALLDIR property or going through the directory table.

You will have to be careful as its install location may be linked to registry /custom actions / conditions, etc and will not like the change you are proposing
