Cannot get a component to install a file under root (in this case : C-drive)
When I capture this with wise package studio 7, I get errors about the directory column of the component in question. How can I solve this ?

Because you havent supplied hardly any info, I'll take a punt and say you have an issue with a component, and the directory column of that component. Fix that and problem solved.

It's hard to be more specific with help when you post so little information."I get errors" doesn't really help...
If you run validation on the package, WPS will highlight the problem. Before that, though, a look at the Tables view should show a row with red highlighting the problematic column.
