Can you change the Samba Password for K2000 RSA 3.6

I have just configured and deployed our first RSA, I have linked and synced the K2000 and RSA. However when I try and deploy an image I get an error 86. I have tried, recreating the KBE with no joy and have found that the samba shares password is the same as the default admin account from the import of the ovf file (this password has since been changed, whereas the prompt when you pxe boot matches the original K2000 server. Is there a way to change this password?

if you change the samba share pw on your K2000, you must first build new KBE's as the samba share pw is stored in the KBE wim image at creation so a change to the PW after the kbe has been built will not be propagated to the KBE's.

once you have build new KBE's make sure they are checked on the RSA page to be synced. Once you run the sync to the RSA its samba PW will be set to the same one as the K2000.

All Sorted...

if you use special characters in the samba share password it will not replicate to the RSA thus leaving it as admin/admin.
