Can you add columns in KACE K1000 Inventory and Assets?

Our service desk techs were previously able to sort assets by user login but the column is no longer shown as being available.
Can columns be added to the column visibility in the assets list and if so where is this changed/

You will probably need to click on the cog icon to the right, tick to display the fields you require on your view and then you will be able to sort.

  • The cog shows only 8 available columns which do not include items needed by our service desk techs - specifically the login
    • Are you viewing all asset types or just computer assets? If you are viewing all asset types, the interface will only show columns that exist for all assets.
      • Thank you - that is exactly what we need - can the view be defaulted to show computer assets upon opening for all service desk techs?
You can only add the predefined ones to the inventory.
If you need additional ones it may be a good idea to go to kace.uservoice.com and voto for the ones you need.
