Can SCCM deploy windows across vlans?

I have an SCCM server on HYPER-V setup and I am trying to deploy windows across vlans..either through a PXE boot or bootable media ...either way I can only deploy windows if I put the target system on the same vlan. Is there a way to deploy across vlans. I think our router is setup to allow DHCP, BOOTP and TFTP traffic to traverse..any ideas?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated..I Am totally new to SCCM

Thanks,

Kat

  • HAve you already solved this problem? I am the person behind the phits.nl website and i can say you need the DHCP options 66 or 67 set OR.. use IP Helpers. Please check your routers and be sure about the DHCP settings or the (lack of) IP Helpers.
