Say the end user requests software that requires two approvals...one from the manager and one from the VP. Without making everyone an approver, how would this be done? We don't want to add every single person's manager and VP to Kace.

  • Anyone that might be a potential approver will have to be included the label that is configured for approvers in the queue. In order to automate setting the approver in a ticket you'll need data from somewhere to make the connection. Some posters here have used values in their AD imported into KACE to create that kind of rule.
  • We do use AD and did pull in the managers, how do we set up "the label that is configured for approvers"?
    • Service Desk, Configuration, Queues, select the Queue, Edit the "Restrict Approvers by Label" field.
