Can KACE check if a password is set on the HDD in laptops?
Goodmorning,
We've had a security incident which require us to check every laptop if the bios password and HDD password are set. The HDD password are set through the Dell BIOS and we're hoping Dell Kace can tell us if it has been set. If anyone knows of a way it would save me (and our users) of checking 150 laptops manually.

WMI code can return a number of bios parameters. Download something like WMIExplorer and check what bios information it can pick up from your DELL machines.

you can use the cctk to query the bios and get this info. I use a script to do this. You can add the cctk files as dependencies if you did not install the cctk
