can I delete exported .pkg and .xml packages from the \\k200\restore share folder? Is there a way to do this through the K2000 appliance?

i want to cleanup the \\k2000\restore share folder.  There are really old files in the share folder and I am looking to export all the newer system images, scripts, and tasks.  i looked in K2000 >  settings > Package management for an option to delete the items in the restore share folder, but I did not see one.  Some of the files that are in the restore folder are not on the exported packages list on the appliance so there are not newer versions that i can export to replace them.

Short: Yes you can, to both questions.

Longer:
These files are exports. You exported (automatic or manual) your MI or similar to this share. (under Settings | Package Management)
If you do this manually (under Export Packages) you have to clean out the share by yourself after you downloaded it to a secure location for backup purposes.
If you use the Offboard Package Transfer (suggested, since it exports the share on a schedule to a secure location) you can enable "Cleanup Restore" and the packages are deleted.

If you need to restore (because you setup a new appliance and want to get all your old files or because you accidentally deleted something) you will put the files to this share (the pkg files are the payload and the xml are the description of the payload)
