Building packages that require the CD to run
Ok...here's another noodle warmer....I am trying to repackage an application that requires the media to be in the CD ROM inorder to run. I tried copying the contents to a network share and launch it from there, but it still wants me to run it from the CD. I've tried modifying the INF to have the program look to the network for the needed installation files, but no luck. Any thoughts? Thanks!

What is the title? Most companies that make such protection offer a patch for the good customers that have such a requirment, just tell them that you are going to stop using the software unless they work around it for you, they will be reluctant to give it up, but most have a work around.
