BMC-CME worth the trouble?

Last November, my company purchased a software Suite from BMC (Service Desk Express, Configuration Management, both of which with all of the bells and whistles), however eight months later, SDE is the only thing we somewhat use.
For the first month, we had a contractor in for the initial setup; however CME was never properly configured. Recently, another problem arose with Bootix, stating that our licensing was wrong. After a week and a half of phone tag with Germany (They close when we open, open after we’re closed), and having another contractor that wasn’t able to get anything new accomplished, we’re thinking about dropping BMC for another product. BMC support itself was overly clueless, as they have never used the PXE portion of the software /they/ sell, stating they don’t have access to a DHCP server for testing..
Currently, we are looking into V-Kbox from Kace, as it seems to be able to handle everything we need, and then some. Our current environment isn’t well suited for Imaging, so we require PXE/Unattended Installs to meet our needs.
We currently have 130 Desktops, with 40+ servers, managed by three System Administrators. As such, we don’t have the resources to properly manage CME, or even SDE.
So my questions, is BMC to much work for us? Should we look at something else? Would Kace be a good option?
