Is there a way to block a single user or a list of users from creating a ticket when they email the K1000?  Or conversely to only allow ticket creation from a single email address?  The email that we want to block is a valid user but sends automated emails to a mailing list that contains the service desk.

  • You can prevent people from submitting tickets into the KBOX by excluding them from a label that allows them to submit tickets to the KBOX. If that user/email aren't apart of the allowed to submit list, the kbox won't take the ticket from them.

    Also make sure you uncheck allow unknown user to submit tickets if they aren't under the USER table in the KBOX GUI. That way if they dont' exist in that table the KBOX won't take a ticket from them.

    You can also block them at the exchange level from being able to send its to the KBOX email address.
