Auto update in McAffe desktop firewall

I successfull repackaged McAffe Desktop Firewall 8.0 application.
Problem with my packaged MSI is that the Auto Update featutre of the application doesn't function. Can anyone let me know how to make the auto update feature work in my MSI..
